Grow Local is about getting people involved in growing food locally in back yardsand community gardens. It’s about understanding where our food comes from and supporting local farmers.

Grow Local will help to reduce food miles and cut greenhouse emissions whilere connecting people with their local landscape to ensure SEQ has healthy, active communities.

Queensland Conservation is proud to present an exclusive pre-release screening of Our Seeds: Seeds Blong Yumi a film celebration of the keepers of the seed- the farmers and gardeners who preserve and share the source of our diverse food heritage.

Filmed across eleven countries by Seedsavers Network founders Jude and Michel Fanton it shows that common threats to food quality and health have local solutions.
