Do you want to make a significant contribution to what we know about Queensland's rare and threatened plants? That National Parks Association of Queensland is about to start training volunteers to undertake rare flora surveys of public and private lands that are part of the protected area estate in Queensland. each survey will be led by a field botanist in conjuction with EPA staff. The first three surveys will be conducted on private properties in the Stanthorpe area, tentatively scheduled for early November. Plant identification training for these surveys will be held on: Friday 24th October 9am to 4pm at the NPAQ offices at 10/36 Finchley St, Milton Cost $15 Places are limited - please RSVP by 20th October |
