Walk against Warming is calling for the next Commonwealth Government to:
Put a price on carbon pollution
Invest in clean energy and industry for a healthy future
Commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the next term of Parliament
Support poor and vulnerable countries to tackle the impacts of climate change and invest in sustainable development.
One of the key outcomes will be 100 000 flyers provided to walkers keen to letter box their street. The purpose of this is to urge leaders to stop procrastinating and start acting on accelerating implementation of the four points above.
